I have plenty of friends and acquaintances who complain about their marriage on a fairly regular basis. In fact, there are a couple of people who I know that seem like they don’t have anything to talk about other than the problems they are experiencing within their marriages. Although I can sympathise with my friends and acquaintances (at least on most of the issues), I feel so fortunate that this is not how I feel about my own marriage. While most of the people who know me still think that I am hiding some deep, dark secret about my marriage, the honest truth is that I picked the perfect woman to be with, and as a result, I couldn’t be happier with the way my life has turned out so far.

I think the reason our marriage is so great is because we are both still as committed as we were when we first got married. For example, we do lots of things to make each other feel special. Just last month, my wife surprised me with a little weekend getaway to Cardiff. We got on a plane the morning after she surprised, and once we arrived and picked up our Cardiff airport car rental, we got to spend the weekend doing a lot of exciting activities just for couples!

From my experience over the years, I have learnt that travelling goes much more smoothly when you make as many of your plans in advance in possible. While it may be tempting at times to wait until your trip begins and wing all of your plans, this can lead to some extremely stressful situations. On top of that, now that the Internet plays such a big role in all of our lives, take care of travel arrangements before a trip begins couldn’t be any easier.

Since I am taking a trip to Cardiff in a couple of weeks, I have been making all of my travel arrangements over the last month or so. Obviously, the first thing that I did was to book a flight to Cardiff. Once I had my flight confirmed, I browsed around and found a great deal on a hotel room for the duration of my trip.

Once I had checked those two items off of my list, I also went ahead and booked a Cardiff airport car rental. The reason I did this was to not only save money, but to also save myself time when I arrived in Cardiff (and avoid the unpleasant scenario of being unable to find a car rental).
